Role Overview  

A business analyst helps guide business in improving products, services, marketing programs through data analysis. This person will translate basic business problems into analysis requirements, implement analytical approach and drive actionable recommendations to facilitate solutions for business stakeholders.

   

Responsibilities

 

• Collaborate closely with catalog business teams to design data and implement data pipelines to build out dashboards and solve business solutions
• Develop scalable and self-serve data solutions to support team projects, to automate processes and to accelerate analytics
• Manage and maintain the existing ETL pipelines, data lake architecture and core tables
• Perform ad hoc deep dives to understand drivers for catalog related issues and opportunities and support external teams with special projects to mitigate those issues
• Periodically identify opportunities to optimize the queries/tools in existing projects
• Continuously learn new systems, tools, and industry best practices to help design new studies and build new tools

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate in a data engineer, business intelligence engineer, data analyst, or data science role
• Expert ETL and dimensional modelling knowledge and SQL skills

 

  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comfortable with using English as the daily working language
• Previous experience in e-commerce or other internet-based industries
