    We seek an exceptional and self-motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. The ideal teammate is an experienced professional looking to take ownership of the development of a new RAG LLM solution - from data pipelines to analyzing performance in a production environment. Since you’ll be joining an early-stage startup at the ground level, you’ll need to be able to wear multiple hats and thrive while working in a dynamic environment.

    Responsibilities of the Role Include:

  • Developing complex backend services using Python language, server-side logic and API’s to facilitate seamless communication
  • Leveraging models such as GPT, OpenAI, Gemini or similar to developer innovative solutions Explore and implement RAG methodology to enhance the relevance and coherence of generated content.  
  • Design, optimization and management of databases with experience in both relational databases (such as PostgreSQL) and vector databases. 
  • Making architectural contributions and decisions to constantly improve the reliability of our software and maintainability of our codebase.
  • Implementing test-driven code using modern techniques.
  • Following agile processes with a focus on delivering production-ready testable code in small iterations.

    Requirements For the Role Include:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience, primarily as a Python backend engineer.
  • Expertise in Python demonstrated by implementing multiple production-grade projects in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with concepts in API development, Postgres, cloud computing, and data engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with generative LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
  • Professional experience designing, training, and deploying machine learning models a plus.
  • Regular contributions to popular open-source projects are a plus.
