Back End Software Engineer II - Dev Accelerator Team

About The Role

Abnormal Security is looking for a Backend Engineer to join the Dev Accelerator team.

The rise of AI tools offers unprecedented opportunities to amplify our engineering capabilities, but capitalizing on these tools requires intentional strategy, deep integration, and thoughtful enablement. This is where our team excels—driving systemic improvements, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that every engineer can focus on solving impactful problems.

Our responsibilities include:

• Evolving Dev Infrastructure: Continuously refining our development environment to adapt for emerging technologies, especially Generative AI tools.
• Cutting-Edge Testing Framework: Ensuring that teams can deliver high-quality, reliable software at speed. 
• Define the right way to build: Providing well-defined templates for various service types to simplify and accelerate development.

With a team of 250 engineers and AI revolution, this need has never been more critical.

Must Have:

• • 3+ years working on relevant tech stacks - Python (Django) and Go, MySQL & PostgreSQL databases, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Kafka
  • 2+ years of production support experience for enterprise-class customers
  • At least 1+ years of system design experience
