We are currently seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our growing Platform - PMO Operations Team! In this role, you will support the delivery of Platform stream projects. Reporting to the Manager, Platform PMO, you will work closely with a number of stakeholders across the organization to assist in the successful delivery of projects to our customers. You will likely be involved in multiple projects at any given time, so you should be able to manage assigned tasks and priorities effectively. BenchSci is a remote-first organization.

You Will:

Assist in driving and delivering cross-functional projects through collaboration with your team’s functional leads

Support project estimating, timeline development, resource scheduling, and coordinating releases under the guidance of senior project managers

Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on assigned tasks, potential risks, and progress towards milestones

Facilitate smooth cross-functional team hand-offs and assist in resolving issues as they arise

Assist in working cross-functionally to ensure the project scope and business case are clearly defined and documented

Work with your team to identify and report roadmap/feature dependencies and impediments

Assist in the management of multiple projects simultaneously.

You Have:

1-2 years of experience in a project-related role or supporting technical projects

Experience with working in an agile environment and familiarity with the SDLC

Basic understanding of project management methodologies and best practices

The ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and manage assigned tasks with deadlines

Experience assisting in the delivery of software products and communicating updates to stakeholders

Strong written and verbal communication skills
