The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ecosystem builder to join our team as the APAC Lead. If you are deeply connected within the APAC ecosystem and can act as our eyes and ears across the region, we want to hear from you.

In this exciting role, you will spearhead marketing initiatives to boost awareness across APAC and lead business development efforts to attract talented teams to launch innovative and impactful projects on Story. You will play a crucial role in cultivating a thriving community, coordinating influential media coverage, and organizing events to educate and engage local builders throughout the region.

Your expertise and strategic vision will be vital, and your adaptability will enable you to tackle new challenges effectively. Responsibilities

Identify and nurture innovative projects and partners across the APAC region to unlock novel use cases enabled by Story.

Own and manage the partnership pipeline in the APAC region. Maintain an up-to-date database and coordinate with the broader team to ensure successful execution.

Nurture existing relationships with our ecosystem partners and community collaborators. Proactively set recurring syncs for timeline alignment.

Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities within APAC.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and business development, on major initiatives to achieve maximum synergy.

Foster a vibrant community of creators, developers, and users across APAC, driving engagement and adoption of the network.

Craft compelling narratives and content that resonate with diverse APAC markets.

Plan and execute events, meetups, and other activities to educate and engage with the local community.

Support the CEO’s strategic partnership initiatives in the APAC region.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in business development, sales, finance, or venture capital, preferably in the blockchain or financial technology industry.

Strong understanding of blockchain technology especially in leading ecosystem growth or partnerships, is highly preferred

Serve as the first point of contact / onboarding for APAC based teams exploring the Story ecosystem

Experience structuring complex partnerships involving multiple stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize product features and requirements based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.

Experience in both traditional finance/web2 and crypto-native business development initiatives.

Native or fluent proficiency in one or more of Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, or other commonly spoken languages across APAC regions.

Exceptional writing and communication skills with a keen eye for narrative and storytelling.

Highly organized, process-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Act as a user & protocol advocate, regularly engaging with users, funds, protocols and other stakeholders to gain insights and feedback on the product
