Luma AI operates as a full-stack AI lab, creating systems that expand human capabilities. We believe that to solve complex problems, models must learn from audio, video, and images. Where You Come In

You will define the cognitive architecture of our platform. This role focuses on the brain of the product, the reasoning engine, memory systems, and planning capabilities that enable our agents to act autonomously. You will bridge the gap between raw model intelligence and useful, long-horizon product actions.

What You Will Build

Reasoning Engines: Architect the backend logic for agent planning, context management, and decision-making in a visual domain.
Memory Systems: Design infrastructure that allows agents to retain context over long creative sessions, understanding the history and evolution of a project.
Tool Use & Execution: Build the interfaces that allow our models to autonomously wield complex video and image generation tools.

The Profile We Are Looking For

Abstract Problem Solver: You excel at breaking down ambiguous concepts like autonomous creativity into concrete engineering primitives.
Orchestration Expertise: You have deep experience building event-driven architectures and managing state in complex applications.
Builder DNA: You prefer writing your own orchestration logic over relying on existing abstractions and thrive when defining the technical roadmap.
