What We Are Looking For

The AI Platform Engineer – Cloud Ops role is a engineering position focused on ensuring that Distillery, our AI platform, is easily deployable, scalable, and reliable across customer hosted cloud and on-prem environments.

This is a hands-on role where you will optimize cloud deployments, automate infrastructure management, and enhance developer experience—ensuring our AI platform operates seamlessly in customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy & Manage Cloud Infrastructure – Partner with customers to ensure Distillery runs smoothly within their environment. Develop cloud agnostic deployment tooling, using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

• Automate & Reduce Operational Overhead – Identify and eliminate manual effort by building tools, optimizing configurations, and improving infrastructure automation.

• Optimize Software Experience – Work across engineering org to build tooling to improve developer productivity via testing and automation.

• Secure & Harden Deployments – Apply security best practices to cloud-native applications, ensuring compliance with enterprise requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or DevX roles.

• Expertise in Kubernetes – Hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized workloads.

• Cloud Automation Skills – Proficient in managing infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools.

• CI/CD Mastery – Strong experience in automating deployments using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

• Observability & Monitoring – Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, DataDog, or similar monitoring stacks.
