We are reimagining GTM at Databricks and are seeking an AI Operations Team Lead to drive execution excellence across our AI agent portfolio. This is not a traditional program management role. You'll scope, design, and ship AI agent workflows, with the balance of your time dedicated to field enablement and delivery management across agents and business segments.

The ideal candidate combines strong program management and leadership skills with executive communication excellence, deep technical acumen, and a proven track record of scaling operations in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership

  • Maintain and communicate product roadmap to stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and IT organizations
  • Drive prioritization decisions and manage competing demands across regions (AMER, EMEA, APJ)
  • Own team JIRA board management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking across AI agent deployments
  • Establish and track team KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Build and iterate on agent workflows hands-on-prompt engineering, logic flows, integration design. This is a keyboards-on role.
  • Strategic Communication & Delivery
  • Create high-impact presentations for senior leadership
  • Translate technical AI capabilities into compelling business transformation narratives
  • Present quarterly business reviews and program performance updates to leadership
  • Design and deliver comprehensive enablement programs for ~2,000 global users
  • Partner with Seller Enablement teams to drive adoption and confident usage of AI tools

Program Management

  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle management for AI agent deployments from ideation through launch
  • Manage phased rollouts, UAT/QA processes, and technical troubleshooting
  • Coordinate deliverables amongst cross-functional teams including Technical Program Managers, Business Intelligence, and Engineering
  • Analyze conversion metrics, reply rates, and time-savings data to identify optimization opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement through prompt refinement and workflow optimization

What We Look For:
Experience:

  • 7+ years in sales operations, program management, or related field
  • 3+ years leading teams or managing complex, cross-functional programs
  • Experience with AI/automation tools and sales technology stacks

Desired Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with JIRA, project management tools, and roadmap planning
  • Advanced data analysis capabilities (SOQL/SQL preferred)
  • Experience with sales systems (Salesforce, marketing automation platforms)
  • Familiarity with AI agent platforms and low-code/no-code solutions a plus
  • Exceptional executive presence with proven ability to create compelling slide decks and narratives
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence without authority
  • Experience managing competing priorities across geographies and business units
  • Track record of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. $112,600$154,750 USD
Zone 3 Pay Range
$106,300$146,200 USD
