SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGNER 2 THE ROLE: This is an exciting role in which you will have excellent exposure to all the latest AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) technologies. Detailed oriented, you have the ability to multitask through planning/organizing.  You have excellent communication and presentation skills and a passion to push the limits of software on innovative platforms. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead validation and optimization of multimedia drivers including audio, graphics, and video across Windows and Linux platforms. Apply AI/ML techniques to automate testing workflows, enhance performance benchmarking, and improve system diagnostics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligent features into multimedia pipelines. Drive development and validation of critical features such as Bluetooth LE, Universal Audio Jack, and SDCA stack. Own WHQL certification processes for multimedia drivers in APU/dGPU environments. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Strong expertise in multimedia driver stacks (Audio, Graphics, Video). Proven experience with Windows OS architecture, WHQL certification, and PC architecture. Hands-on experience with AI/ML model development, benchmarking, and performance tuning. Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation. Familiarity with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
